Writing goals. So important. I just wrote some personal goals for myself.I actually still like to use pen and ink for this but there is no reason why typing out could not be effective. I actually heard about this idea as a result of being introduced to the ideas of Jim Rohn although I have also heard this idea espoused by Brian Tracy at a London seminar.

Writing down a goal is like writing a command for a computer. It is important to remember that unconscious processes are very important but also they can be influenced by conscious thoughts which we ascribe special importance to.

By writing down a goal we are giving our brain a task,a project to work on. There will most likely not be an immediate result but what we are doing is telling our brain to search for opportunities and decisions that relate to the goal.

I would welcome any stories you might have about written goals which resulted in an improvement in your life-please write in the comments section!
